Personal information collected by IGUER may be used for the following purposes:

• Reviewing membership applications and eligibility

4. Retention and Disposal

Successful Applicants

Full name, email address, university or institution, major or department, and publication experience are retained while membership remains active.

Year of study is deleted within three months after notification of acceptance.

Optional information, including Short Motivation and CV / Research Portfolio Link, is deleted within three months after notification of the application result.

Upon withdrawal from IGUER, retained personal information is deleted within three months from the date of withdrawal, unless retention is required by applicable law.

Unsuccessful Applicants

Personal information collected through the membership application is deleted within three months after notification of the application result, unless retention is required by applicable law.

5. Form Processing and Formspree

IGUER uses Formspree, a third-party form processing service provided by Formspree, Inc., to receive membership applications submitted through this website.

Information submitted through the application form may be transmitted to and processed by Formspree for the purpose of delivering the submission to IGUER.

According to Formspree's Privacy Policy, information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Formspree operates.

Formspree may also process technical information associated with use of its services, including IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses, in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

IGUER does not sell or rent applicants' or members' personal information.
